Benjamin Gerard José Byrne (THE SMILING AFRO)

Born and raised in sunny southeast Asian island, Singapore. At the age of 17, I produced, directed and edited my first video during my polytechnic days, I aced the project and have never looked back since. I found my way into film school in Singapore where I obtained my diploma and BA Honours in Film, before heading to London to further my MA Filmmaking studies and continue my filmmaking journey.

 

For 9 years I have dived into the world of film production, from working on independent feature and short films, commercial productions, a reality TV production, full-timer at a production company, videographer for the Singapore Airforce and freelance corporate video projects. Once in a while, my face is on the other side of the camera as I go onscreen as an Actor/Talent.
